If you have played GTA: Vice City, you would know that the protagonist, Tommy Vercetti, was a professional criminal who worked for the Forelli family of the Liberty City Mafia until 1971, when he was sent to prison for multiple counts of homicide, even though Tommy was ordered by his boss, Sonny Forelli, the Don of the Forelli Family, to kill just one man. Apparently, Tommy was ambushed and was forced to fight his way out and was eventually arrested and imprisoned for the killings, which earned Tommy the nickname "The Harwood Butcher." It is later revealed that Sonny Forelli indeed orchestrated the ambush. However, thanks to his connections to the Forelli family , Tommy served a relatively light sentence of 15 years in prison. Tommy is released from prison in 1986 and Sonny quickly realizes that having "The Harwood Butcher" returning to Liberty City and working on behalf of the Forellis in Liberty City would be harmful to business, so he decides to send Tommy down south to Vice City to set a drug ring, which was supposed to be the beginning of the Forellis' expansion plans.

In a shrewd move, Sonny kills two birds with one stone by having "The Harwood Butcher" out of the neighborhoods of Liberty City and instead, doing the dirty work for the family in the lucrative drug business in Vice City. Nevertheless, considering that Sonny arranged for Tommy to be killed fifteen years ago, the question is why Sonny did not immediately disown Tommy after his imprisonment?

One answer is that Tommy is actually a valued "made" member of the family, so Sonny, whose secret plan to eliminate Tommy had failed, was forced to "make it up" to Tommy by pulling strings and calling in favors and ultimately getting Tommy a lighter sentence, and moreover, treating him as an old friend and giving him a job after he was released.

One thing's for sure, he's going to have to play good off the bench if Detroit wants a chance to beat Boston, or even to hold on Cleveland if LeBron does what he did last year.
Well, by overrated, I meant that he was the worst kept secret in the draft. But I agree that he's a good player off the bench as is Aaron Affalo. As for the bench come playoff time, they'll be better than they were a year ago, when they were counting on Chris Webber and Nazr Mohammed.

Dustin Brown is underrated for now. The media hasn't yet panted all over Brown so much that he would be overrated, a la with Ben Wallace.
