For whatever reason I do not personally understand, but it seems like I've had wicked bad luck with members of the opposite sex ever since I broke up with my ex-girlfriend 3 years ago.  I've done the just sitting back, I've gone out, I've done the dating sites....none of which brought positive results.  I've come close many times, especially with this one girl...but she always pulls the same card, which is total bullshit because she goes back on it everytime.  I don't understand why, either.  It just makes one want to give up on it all because it seems every attempt is futile, and then I end up just getting hurt, which I'm tired of. 

So I don't know where to go at this point.  I could just sit back and wait for something to come along I suppose, but I'm not one who has never ending patience.  When something like this directly involves me, I would rather be proactive about the situation than wait and wish and hope.  There's a saying, you can wish in one hand and crap in the other, then see which one fills up first.  You do the math.

I could just take it for what it is I suppose.  Live, learn, and move on.  Easier said than done, but not impossible to accomplish.  I guess only time will tell.
