Well, the Brewers are still hanging around and are making trade offers and trying to improve their team and status for the playoffs!!!  The Brewers had a light week with the games because of the All-Star break. They wne 4-0 for the week.  They are now (55-43) for the season and remain 3 games behind the Cubs for 1st place, and 1 game behind the Cardinals for the wild-card lead and 2nd place.   Huge 4-game series in St. Louis this week and then head home for the Astros next weekend.  Lets continue to play consistent baseball and keep the pressure on the Cubs and Cardinals.

I was on vacation last week.  My family went to Disneyworld!!   We had a blast!!!   The Brewers traded for C. C. and they finished the week in third place.  They are in the hunt for the division and the wild card.  It is going to be a great finish.  And hopefully the Brewers will make the playoffs and make some noise!!

The Brewers are on the verge of trading for C. C. Sabbathia from the Cleveland Indians for AA prospect Matt LaPorta.

For the Brewers this week, the complied a (5-2) record for the week and now stand 10 games over .500 at (49-39). They are continuing to play good baseball. Although, the Brewers may have the most embarrassing loss of the 2008 season. On Thursday, July 3rd, they gave up 6 runs in the bottom of Arizona's 9th inning to loose 6-5 in that series finale. YIKES!! But they did finish the series and road trip at .500 (5-5) and came back to Miller Park and promplty swept the Pirates. Lets have another good week and hope to see C. C. pitch on Tuesday Night against the Colorado Rockies.

Brewers had an ok week. They let a game get away from them on Friday, blowing a 3-run lead for the 8th time this season. But who is counting. They Brewers went (3-3) for the week and won a road series and really could have won both road series. They are currently (44-37) after the thirteenth week of the season. They are still playing good baseball, and the pitching has been better than average. Good luck this week Brewers!! Lets have a good week and keep the pressure on the Cubs and Cardinals.
