Entry Category: Default Category Entry Mood: (Happy)Published On: 07-20-2008 09:37 PM Well, the Brewers are still hanging around and are making trade offers and trying to improve their team and status for the playoffs!!! The Brewers had a light week with the games because of the All-Star break. They wne 4-0 for the week. They are now (55-43) for the season and remain 3 games behind the Cubs for 1st place, and 1 game behind the Cardinals for the wild-card lead and 2nd place. Huge 4-game series in St. Louis this week and then head home for the Astros next weekend. Lets continue to play consistent baseball and keep the pressure on the Cubs and Cardinals. My family went to Disneyworld!! We had a blast!!! The Brewers traded for C. C. and they finished the week in third place. They are in the hunt for the division and the wild card. It is going to be a great finish. And hopefully the Brewers will make the playoffs and make some noise!! Entry Tags: This blog has no tags. Entry Title: Week Fourteen............... Entry Category: Default Category Entry Mood: (Energetic)Published On: 07-06-2008 11:23 PM The Brewers are on the verge of trading for C. C. Sabbathia from the Cleveland Indians for AA prospect Matt LaPorta. For the Brewers this week, the complied a (5-2) record for the week and now stand 10 games over .500 at (49-39). They are continuing to play good baseball. Although, the Brewers may have the most embarrassing loss of the 2008 season. On Thursday, July 3rd, they gave up 6 runs in the bottom of Arizona's 9th inning to loose 6-5 in that series finale. YIKES!! But they did finish the series and road trip at .500 (5-5) and came back to Miller Park and promplty swept the Pirates. Lets have another good week and hope to see C. C. pitch on Tuesday Night against the Colorado Rockies. Entry Tags: This blog has no tags. Entry Title: Week Thirteen... Entry Category: Default Category Entry Mood: (Content)Published On: 06-29-2008 07:42 PM Brewers had an ok week. They let a game get away from them on Friday, blowing a 3-run lead for the 8th time this season. But who is counting. They Brewers went (3-3) for the week and won a road series and really could have won both road series. They are currently (44-37) after the thirteenth week of the season. They are still playing good baseball, and the pitching has been better than average. Good luck this week Brewers!! Lets have a good week and keep the pressure on the Cubs and Cardinals. Entry Category: Default Category Entry Mood: (Content)Published On: 06-18-2008 02:55 PM The Brewers went (3-3) this week and finished with the overall record of (36-33). They lost a series at home and won a series on the road. What is this world coming too? Entry Tags: This blog has no tags. Entry Title: Week Ten....... Entry Category: Default Category Entry Mood: (Content)Published On: 06-08-2008 08:41 PM Well, another week in the books for the 2008 season already. After completing this week #10, the Brewers had a 4-2 week, and finished the week with an overall record (33-30). The Brewers continue to struggle on the road. They need to improve their play on the road if they are going to hang around in the race this season. Lets hope for another productive week by the Brewers!! Entry Tags: This blog has no tags. Entry Title: Week Nine........ Entry Category: Default Category Entry Mood: (Hysterical)Published On: 06-02-2008 11:18 AM Well, this week's news is much better to report. The Brewers have climbed back over the .500 mark at (29-28). They went 6-1 for the week and they still lost a game in the standings because the Cubs went (7-0) for the week. Oh well, it is just fun seeing the Brewers start to play good baseball again. There is still lots of season left and the Brewers are only 7 games back. Lets just remember last year the Brewers had a 10-game lead and lost the division. I had Internet problems all week, so I really missed this place. Had withdrawls. I need my S3F fix!!!! Entry Category: Default Category Entry Mood: (Confused)Published On: 05-25-2008 11:18 PM Brewers just keep stumbling along in the 2008 season. After a 3-3 week, the Brewers are now 23-27 for the season. They are just not clicking on a consistent basis. All of this talent, and just last place to show for it. The Brewers went 24-10 after 34 games in 2007, and on May 25th, the Brewers are 50 games into the season, and have only accumulated 23 wins. I am perplexed with this season thus far. Entry Category: Default Category Entry Mood: (Angry)Published On: 05-18-2008 08:36 PM Well, another "just wonderful" week for Brewers baseball. The Brewers went 2-5 dor the week, and fell to 20-24 for the year. With this impressive record, they are now alone in last place in the NL Central. With all of this young talent, they are not handling high expectations very well to this point in the season. I hope to report BETTER news next week Brewers' fans!!! 03-26-2008 11:57 PM I consider myself to look most dashing in pink. ![]() 03-24-2008 11:43 PM one school has a blacktop area that is relatively smooth, but narrow. It also has a playground area and the indoor area is that cafeteria complete with concrete pillars (with padding), low ceiling, and tile floor. the other building has a huge public park across the street so I have to deal with the locals at times. the basketball court there isn't that great...very uneven. The indoor gym has a gym floor, but is narrow and has a low ceiling...not nearly as low as the other, but low. there are classrooms underneath and 1 right next to it though...so noise is always an issue...ah, the life of a PE teacher. We've only got plenty of equipment because our supply money is donated. 03-24-2008 11:02 PM hello fellow PE teacher...does your school suffer from the typical lack of a gym, etc? we've got plenty of equipment, but the 2 buildings were former nunneries and therefore don't have a real gym... 03-23-2008 11:11 PM thanks DMBZeppelin and CrazyEights for joining my network!!
