I am loving the Nationals. This team has sucked for so many years and then BOOM, now they are good. Chad Cordero is the best closer in the game right now and he is kicking ass. Ryan Drese turned out to be a good pickup. No really standout players but a good TEAM. I hope the Nationals keep winning because this is great to watch.

2008 Giants > Padres

Pathetic Stat of the Year- Matt Cain has a 3.74 career ERA, but has won just 30 of his 104 starts.

Hernandez has been a stud for this team for a few years now. He's 12 - 2 this year. He eats up innings, led the league in CGs last year, and seems to keep his team in the game.

I love to see the Nats do well for lot of reasons. One, they are a great story. Second, they are fun to watch. Third, just to spite DK.

Well the third could be harsh. I still feel bad for the diehard Expos fans who supported them in their final years in Montreal. I gotta give them credit though. I know some of the Montreal fans are still supporting that team in D.C. I give them lot of credit. I thought MLB should have done the right thing by at least giving a minor-league team in Montreal so fans can still have some sort of connection to that franchise. It's the least MLB can do.

I agree. How do you think Texas feels about letting Ryan Drese walk?

GO NATS!
