On the night where the Blue Jays honoured Roberto Alomar and Paul Beeston and showed their powder blue vintage jerseys (they look great imo).

Shaun Marcum was great tonight, shut down the red sox until 7th where he gave a 3-run HR to JD Drew. 4th straight quality start by the Jays' rotation, hopefully a 5th one is coming tomorrow from Jesse Litsch.

Marcum went 7.0 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 8 SO

Matt Stairs started the offense in the game with a solo HR in the 6th inning, Tim Wafefield was pitching. Stairs was later replaced by Stewart since Boston put in a LHP then Buck Coats took over on defense.

Brian Tallet had another good outing from the pen going 1.0 IP with 1 SO.

Jeremy Accardo closed the game in the 9th for his 2nd save of the season.

Frankie T also got off his big ass tonight with a big double in the 7th inning to give the Jays a 5-3 lead.

Jays had the bounces go there way tonight, Dustin Pedroia wasn't striong in the field and had some ground balls go pass him (although they were hard hits) that went off his glove. Jays also had a fly ball go their way when Overbay hit a fly ball out in Left-centre and Ellsbury was playing deep and Manny was being Manny.

Alex Rios and Marco Scutaro stole their 3rd base of the season. Eckstein had a steal too but it went uncontested. The Jays look like they are running more this season.

Jays ended up winning 6-3.

Note - Roy Halladay and Josh Beckett (1st start) will be pitching against each on Sunday, which I heard will be aired nationally in the states on TBS.
