Maybe Grady Little will push to sign Hillenbrand, who used to play for Little in Boston. But Hillenbrand sulks about playing time, so it is more likely he will sign with the Padres or another team that desperately needs a corner infielder.

He has more than five years (is it five? some number around there) of MLB service, so he can refuse to go to the minors, I believe.
