    Best of 3 series.
Fresno St. is the only team with 30 losses to ever reach the CWS Finals. This team started off the year 8-12, and had to win the WAC tournament to even get a bid to the NCAA tourney. They had to go through previous champions in Rice, and beat #2 ranked North Carolina to get to the final round. 8 Georgia had to go through #1 Miami (FL) and Stanford to reach the final round. This is Georgia's 3rd trip to the College World Series in the last 5 years. This team is very, very strong proving their worth against Miami and Stanford. Good luck to both of these teams. Fresno St. comes back, and it's an all out brawl as Georgia goes down, 19-10.

Fresno St is the 2008 National Champions!!!
FSU goes 6-0 in elimination games in the national tourney, and beats Georgia 6-1 in the final game of the CWS. Great job to both teams to make it that far. It was a helluva series. Fresno St. in 3!! Great story!! Fresno did the impossible and hardly anyone knows about it. Its a shame but glad I watched it.
