Hot Seat #63 - CrazyEights -
09-03-2008, 02:18 AM
Rules for the Hot Seat
This is something we are continuing on with. One nice aspect of being a smaller forum is building a solid community and getting to know many of the forum posters and here is your chance to get know one another even better!
In The Strike3Forums Hot Seat threads, you may ask the one in the Hot Seat (in this case, CrazyEights up to 3 questions. The questions can be about baseball, movies, relationships, whatever.
Please keep the questions appropriate and know that the person in the Hot Seat can refuse to answer any question he or she feels uncomfortable with. You may ask questions for the next week, then the guy in The Hot Seat will answer up to three of your questions.
If you would like to have a chance to be the next one up, post that you would like to and CrazyEights will select from the ones interested for who will go next. Or, he'll just select whoever the heck he wants.
Timeframe involved: Just so we know how we are going to do this ... the person in the Hot Seat will be there for about one to two weeks. Questions, such as this thread, will be open for one week and then we will close the questioning so that the poster has time (up to one week) to get some answers together.
Questioning will close Wednesday, September 10th. Answers will then be opened until Wednesday, September 17th..

Who's more cursed: Me being GM in OOTP or you running a league in OOTP?
Your thoughts on Yankees fans going insane about AROD?

If you were in fact a crazy 8 ball, what would your 2 positive responses be, your 2 negative responses be, and 1 random response be?
Outside of S3F, what is your favourite website?
You are given ownership of any MLB franchise you want, on the sole condition that in 2 years it has to be re-located to what ever city you want. What franchise do you pick, where do you move to, and what is the new team name?

1. In a perfect world, Lucy Liu would have made quick work of Uma Thurman, right? I can see Uma easily defeating Vivica A. Fox and Darryl Hannah, but I'm not buying her beating Liu. Was this a farce?
2. You cheering for the dbacks if they make the playoffs and your cardinals keep on pace and do not? In other words, do you cheer for Dan Haren or does the sight of Haren set you off?
3. Word association: First word that comes to mind when you read each of these:
A) Adam Dunn
B) Jason Isringhausen
C) Alfonso Soriano
D) Bananas
E) Syntax Error
F) Giantsfan Complaining
G) Sarah Palin
H) Chad Ocho Cincho
Then you have T-shirts or shirts that you received as a gift or you bought when you were drunk or in the mood to just buy something. Those are the Carl Pavano shirts. -Bill Simmons
Second, I'd slap NYGF because he just seems to have it coming for him. I swear man you wouldn't last 5 minutes in California before you got your ass kicked. So I'd be doing him a service too. -hot corner gurl

1. Kill, break and murder all of this person's possessions/animals/family, entrust your sim league running to: Me, DirtyKash, and HollywoodLeo. You must put one of us in each of these categories and explain why.
2. Would you shave your body and keep it that way permanently if it was the only way you were allowed to watch any channel besides Lifetime? Explain.
3. Cardinals: Past, Present, and Future: Give me your favorite player from each decade since you've been born and give me the top 3 minor leaguers you like.
If it's a team besides the Cards that is your favorite, then do so for them. I just assumed that you were a Cardinals fan.

3. If Pinocchio said, “My nose is about to grow”, what would happen?

I also disagree. It's not "some" women. It's "all".

1. Why are women such s.luts? (Not actual prostitutes, but s.lutty behavior and ready to spread their legs and lie on their backs at the first opportunity).
2. What's your favorite joke about women?
3. Why do women suck at driving automobiles?
