This year's Midsummer Classic will feature four-time All-Star second baseman Alfonso Soriano, two-time All-Star shortstop Michael Young and first-time All-Star first baseman Mark Teixeira. Three-time All-Star pitcher Kenny Rogers, like Young and Soriano, was voted in by the players.

It was fun to see Mark Teixeira in the game. He doesn't get the kind of respect he deserves and I really think he'll be a mainstay in the All-Star game for quite some time.

It was nice to see Rogers pitch and deal with the media. He handled it well. Also giving a HR was fine with me
