It's sad too because this team has really come together and they look like a real team. If their core stays together in the offseason and they bring back some of this young pitching, they could do great things next year. But they are in too big of a hole to overcome this year.

I'm afraid I have to agree with this, except for the too big of a hole part. Six games is not too big of a hole, and they will likely make a good run at the wild card, but I think they will fall short. Their pitching just isn't good enough to pass all of the stronger teams that are also going for the wild card spot. Although Texas has probably done better than anybody expected them too, certainly better than I expected from them. If they stay above .500 it will be only the 2nd time since their '99 division title that the Rangers have had a winning record.
