Shields pitched a one hit shutout tonight against the Angels and only needed 92 pitches to do so. He struck out eight and didn't walk a soul. Longoria hit a walkoff homerun to give Shields and the Rays the victory. Shields is 4-2 with a 3.14 ERA and is showing he has ace material for this Rays team.



Giants > Padres

Pathetic Stat of the Year- Matt Cain has a 3.70 career ERA, but has won just 29 of his 95 starts.
