    Chris "Mr. Timeout when I don't have one" Webber retired today.
For such a huge deal coming out of high school and college, he was never really able to live up to his potential because of injuries. But all-in-all, Chris Webber seems like an ok guy, and good for him. Retirement is a good thing, I wish I could retire. |

Knew this thread was about Webber when I saw the title. He had a good career, although he never won a title, but his time had definitely come and passed. This doesn't come as a shock to me at all. I wish him well in the future.

Chris Webber is one of a handful of players that averaged 20 PPG, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Only like five players have done that including Wilt the Stilt, Elgin Baylor and Oscar Robertson.

Actually, when I saw his numbers yesterday, they were technically showing him averaging just 9.7 rebounds/game. But technicalities, who needs them, right?
