I like how you completely missed the point there, which would be that if your "talent evaluation method" ever worked (that is assuming you actually are a talent evaluator, a HUGE assumption IMO, consdiering the amount of proof, or rather lack thereof, that you've provided to support your claim), it has LONG since been outdated. As I've said before, any good talent evaluator knows that a team full of above average players will usually beat a team of bad-average players with the exception of 1-2 great players. If you don't understand that, you're not a good talent evaluator. Then again, until I see some proof, you're not a talent evaluator period.

Dam8610, you don't know how foolish you are. The WIN METHOD is out there, just listen to certain sports people talking of winning and ignoring stats. Latest was the new Notre Dame football coach, saying 'stats and and stat sheets mean nothing, (to him) getting the win is all that counts'.

Well "ejk" (hmmm, thst looks very similar to another screen name of a person who advocates this "WIN METHOD" that has not been in any way described, let alone proven to work), broadcasters may have their opinions, but that's why they're in the broadcast booth, and not the front office. By the way, your Weis argument only furthers my point, because you're talking about college football, where a great player can be surrounded by a bad team and have his performance suffer because of it. I guarantee that Calvin Johnson will be a high 1st round draft pick when he declares in either 2006 or 2007, regardless of how Georgia Tech does that year.
