The Pirates are ****ing useless

I can't thank them enough for my getting my hopes up by scoring 4 runs against Dan Haren and then folding like the pink tacos that they are.

We'll have to wait and see how long their current shmuck of a manager is going to keep Tyler Yates as his "closer" after he just gave up five earned runs and record just one out. But here is what I think that Jim Tracy thinks (if he was still managing them):

"Is Tyler Yates going to be my closer? I don't know. Do I have to explore other options? What options do I have? Do we need a closer? Maybe, maybe not. Probably not. Do we need Tyler to pitch well? Yes, we do. Did he pitch well tonight? No, he did not. What was his performance tonight? Five earned runs in a third of an inning? How can you explain it? I guess I'm not smart enough to explain it. Why do I keep asking myself questions?"

Useless is a harsh word. Their only use is for trading players to contending teams. They sort of helped you out in getting Manny!!

You're kidding yourself if you get your hopes for the pirates to do anything notable. Clock is ticking for them to unload McLouth, Duke and Capps in a few seasons.
