The past is a beautiful thing...but not relevant. Yankees didn't win it last year which is a little more recent.
 2008 Giants > Padres  Pathetic Stat of the Year- Matt Cain has a 3.74 career ERA, but has won just 30 of his 104 starts. |

The yankees are sooooooooooooooooo under appreciated and underrated, there are some predictions (probably not on this site) that have people who think the Yankees go in 3rd place!

The Yankees aren't that strong of a team this year with a lot of question marks. People are rating them just fine.

I'd say a month after both teams are eliminated, regular season/playoffs/whatever. I'm up for a Yankees division one with whoever, but if you wanna do a Yanks/Jays one it's your call.
