Yesterday I had my monthly do nothing but sleep day which means I didn't do a ****ing thing but sleep and it was awesome. I woke this morning refreshed and then shocked to see that Barry Zito went seven innings of shutout baseball. I had to do a double-take. Zito went seven strong and gave up just five hits and two walks. Zito improves to 7-15 and might not lose 20 after all. Pablo Sandoval is the guy who called the game from behind the plate. Not bad for a rookie. Sandoval also went 2-4 with a RBI!

You know what else shocked me? Aaron Rowand hit his team leading 12th homerun! Its pretty pathetic that 12 leads the team and this better change next year. Lewis finally had a bad game in the #3 hole but it didn't matter as the Giants won 5-0.
