A little late but the Giants are about to take the series and be only five games out of first. Giants lost the first game 4-1 but Lincecum stunned the A's in game two by striking out 11 in a 1-0 win. Today's game is going very well as it is 11-1 in the 8th. Sanchez pitched a great game and Aurilia and Bowker provided plenty of offense. Aurilia is 3-4 with 5 RBI including a two run homer, his 6th of the year. Bowker is 3-4 with 2 RBI from the DH spot. Great series win for the Giants!! The A's have kicked our asses long enough and now its over or at least until next year.



2008 Giants > Padres

Pathetic Stat of the Year- Matt Cain has a 3.74 career ERA, but has won just 30 of his 104 starts.

Very nice win/series fellow bay area mates. I guess we were in for a series loss sooner rather than later. Lincecum is getting better and better. Hopefully he'll make it to the ASG in NY. He really deserves it. But you better watch out - we'll be ready to get revenge once next season rolls around.

Need I say more?
