My Apologies

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I have been extremely busy with work and my granddad just passed away. He is the big reason baseball is so prevalent in my life. He taught my dad this game and my dad later went on to coach baseball for 36 years. Safe to say it became the biggest thing in my life too. The service was great and he was buried with his favorite Cardinals hat. That's why the Cards are second in my heart but the Giants will be first. Thank goodness I have a big enough heart to love every team in this great game. So again, sorry I haven;t been around but this week should be getting back to normal so I will be around a lot more often. Go Giants! Go Cards!

Wow man, that's a really great story. I'm really glad you enjoyed the service. It's always awesome when you can look back on someone's life and be happy to remember the great times they had rather than mourn their passing. although there's nothing wrong with mourning, sometimes it has to be done.

Glad to have have you back. It must be such a blessing to have such great memories of your grand dad and how he was such a huge part in your growing love of the game of baseball. Memories are something that you will never forget and it really seems like you cherish them. My heart goes out to you during this tough time in yours and your families life, but I know will you stay strong.

Another generational baseball family. That explains why we agree more than not, we were both taught the old school way of the game. I am SO thankful for that. Yes, it is the greatest game of life isn't it. RIP to your grandad and mine and also my dad.

i wish i had a generational baseball family. I'm really the only one in my family that likes it hardcore. My brother and dad like it, but they hardly ever watch it like I do. I'm jealous. My family is going to be a generational baseball family, starting with me. It's been decreed.
