Thank god for a day off

After last night's beating by the Astros, the Giants have a day off. A game where the Giants used 4 relievers from an over-worked bullpen and only collected 4 hits, the Giants get a much need rest. The Giants' bats were slow as hell it seemed last night. Fassero looked beat in the second inning. Grissom continues to struggle now hitting .202. Feliz, Ellison and Alou need to be the set outfield for a while. Ellison has been great and has earned the right to play everyday for a while. Grissom can play when he proves something in the cage. Snow is back which will help out on the defense. It might take a few days to get his swing back. But its off to Colorado where we could use another sweep against those Rockies. San Diego has the Braves coming to town and the Dodgers get the Marlins. Unfortunately, the Diamondbacks has the Astros for the nest few days. Hopefully the Pads and Dodgers struggle and pray that the Astros can get something going after our beating last night.
