    Everyone has been making a big deal out of Lincecum's delivery so here is an article and clip of what all the fuss is about.
Small wonder - MLB - Yahoo! Sports  2008 Giants > Padres  Pathetic Stat of the Year- Matt Cain has a 3.74 career ERA, but has won just 30 of his 104 starts. |

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see what all the fuss is about...I've seen much crazier deliveries than that.

Me too bub but the scouts didn't like him and he dropped to 10th in the draft. Good for us!!

Hmmmmmm I dont see whats wrong with this delivery either. But man the guy throws 100 mph! Now I cant wait to see him.
Reef is he is invited to ST right? I hope he does well and becomes a starter for us! |

It's not his deliver that irks me, it's his size and frame that make me wonder if his arm is going to hold up as a starter(I know all the prospect sites are projecting him a setup/closer type guy.).
Ah, but it's the spring, if they didn't ***** about something, it wouldn't be baseball. SBSL: Pittsburgh Pirates TSSL: Pittsburgh Pirates TPSL: Phiadelphia Phillies  Yeah, it's from 2 years ago. I still love him.

He did throw a lot of innings at UDub. He could be a starter, but not a guy your going to get 7-8 innings out of every start. His stuff as a closer, would be very dominant.

They said the same things about Oswalt and Fossum but they have made it as starters (at elast Oswalt has had success). I'd rather see him in a rotation with Cain and Zito for years to come than be a closer whereas we have planty of options in the dept. We shall see. He's not going to be on the big league roster anytime soon so we will have plenty of time to wait and see.
