The bad news is that Ryan Mathews didn't help my fantasy team at all.
Why'd they stop giving him the ball?

Ryan Mathews is only a freshman, so trust me, he's going to get plenty of reps by the time his days at Fresno State are over. Will Harding and Lonyae Miller were the workhorses today. Harding finised 22 carries for 116 and a TD, Miller had 15 carries for 96 and a TD.

Has anyone seen a better weekend in football?
Missouri gets a big win over Kansas that could put the Tigers in the National Title game with West Virginia.
Tennessee and Kentucky go 4 Overtimes before Tennessee squeaks one out.
Hawaii got a HUGE win at home against Boise State for the outright WAC title
Arkansas upsets LSU in Triple OT to knock LSU out of the BCS Title game
I'll throw this question out there. Should the NFL change their overtime rule to mirror college football? Dual possession from the 25 yard line, if still tied after 2 OT's you have to go for the 2-point conversion after a score?

No.
That overtime format is pretty dumb if you ask me.
I mean, yeah, it's better than flipping a coin and whomever scores first wins, but it's still pretty dumb.
I think the NFL overtime format should be slightly modified to where each team is guaranteed at least one possession, though

The NFL is the only sport, that I know of, that has a "whoever scores first wins" overtime system. I like the dual possession in overtime, I think it makes the game that much more exciting.

The NHL used to have it, but they changed to the lame shootout thing. (I guess you can say they still have it, just in a different fashion.)
Any rate, I like dual possession as well...I just don't care too much for those possessions being guaranteed to start 5 yards from the red zone.

Yesterday's game took like 5 hours to finish. By the time CBS went to the FSU (Florida State, not Fresno State!) vs Florida game, it was like in the second half.
I don't think the NFL wants to have to deal with potentially 5 hour-long games because of television purposes. Whereas in college, it's easier to handle, since the odds that the game going to 4 or 5 OT won't be on national TV (thus, not cutting into a broadcast of House, 60 Minutes, Two and a Half Men, or whatever else)!

I'm sure if the NFL were to adopt the system they'd make the game a tie if it's not over by the 3rd overtime (when you're forced to go for 2)
Or they might change it to where you're forced to go for two in the 2nd and call it a tie if it's tied after that.
There'd probably be more ties though...

So why not do it this way, dual possession starting at mid-field for each team, 2nd OT you have to go for 2. I think more games would end with a winner than a tie in my opinion.
