I called tech support and spoke to this guy who speaks broken english.. needless to say we spent the next 30-40 minutes with him asking me to do the same thing over and over and over again, and him repeating everything at least 3 times.. i got fed up and said I had to go to work... haha (which i did) |

Next time open a DOS box and do the tracert (i.e tracert yahoo.com) to find out to see where it stuck. If it stuck at their router, tell them it's their problem and you don't have to do all the crap that they'd usually ask you to do (turn on/off the modem, reboot the computer, disconnect your router, etc...) It always pissed me off when they do that when it's their problem
