Very fun day, LOL, it was Stevin. You know they gripe and Bitsh that we go on and on about a topic but dont realize that if they just let us have our say, give our opinions, and vent, without their dumass responses it wouldnt go on as long as it does and it wouldnt turn into a flame war.

I think MrP should be given props for going toe to toe with them too, some people just dont get it.

Totally agree.......and you're right......MrP gets major props for standing up and having an intelligent take, and even more props for doing it without adding to the bonfire.....cudos......

A friend of mine sent me the following e-mail thought I would share it with you all in case you are interested in purchasing the card.

I am selling one of my Barry Bonds rookie cards to the highest bidder. I bought the card when I was in High School.

I, for one, do not believe that Barry took steroids at any point in his career and believe he will be in the Hall of Fame someday.

Ouch what do you guys think of rutgers this year?

I like Rutgers and I think they're going to be a very difficult team to deal with this season. I loved their win over Louisville last season, that was a HUGE win for their program.

The Big East kind of reminds me of the WAC (Western Athletic Conference), where they have some mediocre teams (Idaho, Utah State, New Mexico State) then they have those 3-4 power house teams (Boise State, Hawaii, Fresno State). If you look at the Big East, they've got teams like Maryland, Cincinnati, UConn, who aren't big time threats. Then you've got #16 Rutgers, #3 West Virginia and #10 Louisville and then Pitt who is always a difficult team to play. So you've got 3-4 teams in that conference that could make a run at a BCS Bowl.

I think, if Rutgers can go into the game against West Virginia without a loss, they should be able to be a big time threat to West Virginia's BCS Championship hopes. I'll predict an 11-1 season, with their only loss being to WV.

It's a great weekend when Michigan and Notre Dame both getting embarassed in the same day, not to mention both games WERE AT HOME!
