Not making excuse, just pointing out the fact that him signing with Texas for 5 mil doesn't guarantee that he would have signed for the same with San Diego.
I wanted Milton resigned and agree you in principal that they would have been better off with him than Edmonds, but that still doesn't mean he would have signed the same deal to stay here. http://www.rachelscott.com

Milton is a hot head who was coming off an injury and was a huge part of why the Padres didn't make the playoffs. Cannot blame them for not re-signing Bradley.

I don't think I ever stated that.
