He's Jake Peavy, not Superman.
Sure it would've been super awesome and ubber clutch had he found a way to kick ass while pitching with broken ribs or tendinitises, but that's certainly nothing to berate his ability to pitch in future "big" games when he's (hopefully) healthy.
Nobody's saying Jake's had a supurb post-season career....they're simply arguing that he receives too much negative heat for his bad rap for "folding in the big games"
I simply do not fault someone for not playing to their full potential when they're pitching with broken ribs. I don't care how many "bottom line" cliches you throw at me.
