    This am on XX in an interview with KT.......
Boomer will either retire, be released or traded. He 'most likely' will not start on Saturday. They are waiting on the announcement to make sure the organization does what Boomer 'wants.' Giving him that respect at least.... Chances are, he'll retire. 'Mechanics are fine, but it's just endurance, father time has caught up.'  to Boomer for realiziing this and not killing the Padres over itGet'r done KT........... 2008 Predictions -Prior ( if he proves healthy ) signs a multi-year extension in Sept. - not healthy, no contract for you -Gerut makes team, and has a great season -Edmonds was a total BUST |

XX morning crew interviewed Blum.......he left the game with Boomer yesterday to head back to the hotel ( or wherever ), and Boomer said " it was a pleasure playing with you guys".........Blum said he was shocked and it totally caught him off guard...........So Boomer knew before he left the ballpark or talked with KT that his days were over.....and likely his career........

Yeah Bud Black's comments when asked a couple of days ago made it clear he wasn't coming back. Wells was a good pitcher with same great moments in this game. He's a real down to earth kind of guy who isn't afraid to say **** you!
