A little bit of info about me. I am a rare commodity, I am a San Diego native, born and raised in San Diego. I was going to Padre Games when they were but a minor league team. I was at the very first and last Baseball games ever played inside San Diego Stadium. I watched Tony Gwynn, Dave Winfield, and Ozzie Smith play as rookies.
I have been a player, coach, manager, and or umpire for the last 40 years. I even tried out with the Cincinnati Reds as a pitcher.
I am now a coach for my youngest son’s Tball Little League Team, and was able to be either the coach or manger for my oldest son’s teams. And that went through Pony League.
I am very old school in my thinking, and believe the game should be played a certain way. If you throw a pitch up and in, you can expect one back. If the batter that gets hit by a pitch, in his honor, someone else will get one also.
But do not come in spikes up, that jungle ball sucks!
Go Padres, and until the Dodgers can beat the Padres, they will continue to suck.
