Has MLB ever seen a better in-season flurry of trades than 2008? A reigning Cy Young Winner, a 600+ HR hitter, a 500+ HR hitter/World Series MVP, a Hall of Fame catcher, a 1B good enough to want a 10-year contract (with help from Scott Boras)…you get the picture.
