S3F Needs Your Brains... Delicious Brains

And by brains, we mean your creativity, because frankly we would cease to exist without it.

Have an urge to write or speak your mind (no matter how foolish you look)? Then S3F could use your help. With the 2007 season soon to take place, we're looking to re-build our teams with passionate fans who feel that S3F would be an ideal site to distribute their content to. We have undergone a great deal of effort and cash to get an even greater indexing with search engines as well as setting up opportunities to easily distribute content to sites such as Digg. With the articles and the podcasts, the more we get from the site in terms of high quality original content, the more we can work towards getting more exposure and assisting our teams (be it an improved homepage or even investing in equipment for a podcaster.) Content is king and we can't do it all on our own. We're all learning as we go when it comes to anything in life, so don't let a lack of polish hold you back if you want to express yourself through text or audio. If you wish to be apart of this, we would love to hear from you because I can assure you we are getting tired of hearing from the same major media sources time after time.

S3F Writer:
Active members who have a passion for discussing baseball. Whether it's from a statistical, humorous, historical, personal or whatever viewpoint you use. Correct grammar and a dedication to writing an article on a flexible schedule is a must (if you just have a passing interest, you can always submit articles in the admin notification, for when/if they are approved they will be posted.)

If you have any questions, feel free to ask there and they will be promptly answered. We do require that to be on the staff that you submit original material that stays exclusive to the site (we're not claiming ownership as a site, but rather we like having the ability to say we provide content not found elsewhere.) Also, if you plan to write with a particular format or on a particular subject of the game and would like to mention it, feel free to.

S3F Podcast:
Currently we have a couple of shows we have published, but we are always looking for more as this is a medium we really believe in as a site. We need creative people who can help with crafting this new form of expression as we are all learning as we go and we all would like to improve. If you have some ideas regarding a theme and feel like you have something to say, we can use the help as we would like to develop several regular shows (all of which we would work to advertise and spread the word about. We have improved podcast integration with vBulletin now and we're hoping to refine our shows to the professional level needed for us to be willing to submit them to the iTunes Podcast Directory.
