Because players want to get big, its psychological, players think that if they big then hit homeruns, but its not true.
Point of using steriods is this, its for working out, if you want to get from point A to point C, you have to go through point B, but however with steriods it makes you from A to C, without going through B, now if you were working out withour roids, you would have to go through point B.

Steroids are moot now.
We all know who's on what side, everyone is steadfast, so why is it still argued?

Valid point, you cheering and admiring wrestlers who use steriods. But your booing Bonds who hasn't failed a roid test? That makes you a hypacrite.
And I only used the wrestling example because of your sig.

Merriman's passed a plethora of steroid tests....
And, regardless of whether or not he intended on taking the cream he still admitted to taking it.
So that tells you how much water your "He's never failed a steroid test" war cry holds.

I boo Benoit because he's a murderer.
At that point whether or not he used roids becomes trivial.

Two different points, Merriman has failed a roid test, regardless of how many test he's passed, he has FAILED a roid test, and Bonds hasn't.
Bonds failed one of those
|
He did, he got criticized for it, deservingly so, but its just funny that all the players from the 70s like Reggie Jackson, Hank Aaron, and ect, all get a free pass.

The point is going way over your head.
The point being, a guy that was obviously on roids, at least at some point, managed to pass 19 other tests.
With that knowledge, combined with the admission by Bonds himself that he took the cream, how reliable are these tests that you keep talking about like as though it's some bottom line argument that should shut everyone up?

If that's all Bonds ever did I doubt anyone would be criticizing him to the level at which they do.

I liked Benoit and didn't feel sorry for his actions. I don't respect anyone that take roids wether I liked them or not.
