I left out Boston, Cleveland and LA Angels because they are leading the divisions right now. |

I realize all non yankee fans hate the Yankees but to call them pretenders is silly. This team has been through rough starts before and come back to make the postseason and they are starting to play well now.

We are not Yankee haters, we just call it as we see it. I love guys like Jeter, Cano and Posada but they just don't have the pitching to get them there.

It is still a little too early to rule out too many teams.. But the play-off pitcure is starting to focus a little, but still very blury.. Lets all come back in early August and discuss this again. By then, we all will have different viewpoints then.

Seattle's offense has done better than expected, now if Felix can get near his forum and the rotation gets better stability. You better believe they can make a run for the WC. They are only 2 back (depending on the 4 more games they have to make up.

I will give you Wang and Pettitte but after that, there's not a lot there. Mussina continues to stink up the joint and the bullpen is a joke.
