I chose Santana because I hate Pedro and never got to see Koufax.

Koufax had the most dominant run of any pitcher ever IMO. I know it was a bad-hitting era, or comparatively worse than 99-06 anyway, but he dominated hitters in a way I don't think anybody else ever could. Pedro is a close 2nd though because I remember so many times he killed people in those years.

Honestly, the only logical justification for Koufax in this argument is his exceptional amount of innings, and since we're doing a relative comparison, I'll ignore innings numbers since no team would let Pedro do that, even if he could at that time.

Pedro was just so far above everyone else...

Like Fisher, I took away the IP, because times were different back then. Pedro was very dominant during that period and I give him the slight edge over Koufax.

I considered....
Randy Johnson 1999-2002
Greg Maddux 1994-1998
Bob Gibson 1966-1969

How about Nolan Ryan? I never seen him pitch but I know he was very dominant.

i choose other. Greg Maddux had every bit as dominating of a stretch as both Pedro and Santana. I'd go Maddux, Pedro, Santana, and then Koufax.

Kaufax, I saw Pedro's run, I saw Johan's run, but I looked up Kaufax's numbers durring that run, in his last 4 years he avg 24 wins, 298 IP, ERA of 1.85, now those a sick numbers.

In the same run Santana avg 212 IP, little over 16 wins, ERA of 2.83
Pedro durring his run avg 226 IP, little over 19 wins, ERA of 2.15.

clearly, it was Charley Radbourn

Charley Radbourn Statistics - Baseball-Reference.com

or Lefty Grove with his 7 straight seasons of 20 or more wins (including 31 one season) with the A's. 172 - 54 during that span with an ERA of 2.74

I'll go with Koufax for the purposes of this poll.

Ryan was clearly one of the most dominating pitchers of all-time based on strikeouts and how feared I'm sure he was among hitters, but he never really put together a totally dominating string of seasons like Pedro, Koufax, or Santana did. His best streak was probably 1972-1974 when he went 62-48 with a 2.70 ERA and struck out 1079 batters in 942.2 innings. He lost 16 games each year though.

As for the poll, I'm not sure. I think it would be pretty close between Koufax and Pedro. Both had incredibly low ERA's and huge strikeouts totals and the 20 win seasons. I'll get back to this more later. Gotta go right now.

I went with Koufax. His numbers are outstanding no matter what timeframe it is.
