Well it is a shame it is over for sure. Rollins seems like a fan friendly type of player and you just want to pull for him. This just shows how hard this streak is. My hat is off to him for getting 38. Great job Rollins!

I would like to see Ichiro break the 56-game hitting streak record... Would go nicely with his most hits for a season record
