Yes they looked bad in the first two games. But you can't judge a team by the first two games, it's April 7th, not September 7th. Still plenty of time to become a good team.

Man, what's happened to Kip Wells? 2 years ago, he was poised to break through with a #2 pitcher type season, last year, he takes a step back. Now, WTF?

here's the problem witlon,

if we walk away from kip wells, i keep seeing jason schmidt. at what point do you cut ties? it just seems the pirates have zero luck on any important decisions.

For every Jason Schmidt, there's a Todd Ritchie. Maybe he was pitching over his head and our expectations rose. Hard to tell, but hopefully, he straightens it out.

I'd rather be talking about how he's a bright spot on a not so good team than how he's a bust, and I'm sure you would too.

Both games agaisnt the Cardinals, They lost because of careless errors and lack of hitting the ball with runners on base.
