    I know it was only the first game of the year, but still for a team that has had 14 straight losing seasons, that was a big win last night. Duke kept us close, good defense and timly hitting. LaRoche however didn't look too good last night, I thought Eldred was playing at times.

Yeah, I missed the game due to prior commitments(OSU being in the Nat'l title game). But it's definately the way the season needed to start. McLouth and Bay bothing coming through in the clutch is the perfect way to start the year.

Aaaaand X comes through again tonight and we're 2 for 2, with 2 comeback wins(against Wheeler and Lidge, too), not bad.

Great start fellas! Nice winning. Nady did it all for you tonight. Then Snell fanning 11 in six innings? Where did he come from? WOW!

It's kind of early to be calling anyone a disappointment. Wait a month at least.
