    Kolb signs on with the Pirates! Hope you are patient fans! Kolb is a good guy, nothing against him, ut I stioll to this day do NOT know why the Brewers got him back from Atlanta?
   I suppose he will be in the setup role and a security blanket in case you need a closer for part of the year. |

He turned out to be crap for Atlanta so I'm sure everyone knows why I would not like Kolb.

He actually had 2 great years with the Brewers combining for 60 saves and posting era's of 1.96 and 2.98. Then he had a horrible year with Atlanta, then a bad year back in Milwaukee. He is still only 3 years removed from his 39 save season so I can only hope he can get back to being a reliable reliever. As a former Ranger I have to hope he can pull it together.

The Pirates can only hope to wish for the same as well concerning Kolb. I agree with about Kolb being tough for two years! I just think he has lost his confidence. With a new year, maybe a new self-confident Kolb!
