Wow, I am surprised. I didn't think he'd because he's a first year. I mean, he's deserves big money, but its just his first year. This could have an effect on future cases with players similar to him

Well, taking into account inflation, and the fact that they're basing it off of Howard's 2005...which included 58 Homeruns, a number that Pujols has never reached, it's a high total, but not absurd.

Congrats to Ryan Howard, it is well deserved $$$$$. He is one of the rising stars in the game today!!!! I have and would again to pay to watch him play.
