    yup...it's another low risk / high benefit move by Beane.
Also, Harden is throwing a simulated game this Monday...he did not throw one on Labor Day as that writer said. He is still on target though. |

Frank Thomas was named player of the week. The five-time All-Star hit .462 (12-for-26) for the week ending Sept. 10, with five homers, 13 RBIs and 27 total bases. In addition, the designated hitter held a 1.038 slugging percentage.
