Midland won their first game last night 14 - 6. Putnam, Suzuki, and Colamarino all homered. Putnam had 5 RBIs and Colamarino had 3 RBIs.

Midland won 5 - 3 last night. Lloyd Turner 3B homered. Brad Ziegler got the win going 7 giving up 1 earned and only 3 hits. He had 0 walks and 5 k's.

Midland lost 6 - 5 in the bottom of the 9th last night. The bullpen gave up 4 runs over the final 4 innings.

Midland won 2 - 0 last night. Jason Windsor and Rall combined for a 1 hit shutout. Windsor went 6 and Rall went 3 for the save.

They also won 5 - 1 on Saturday. Ziegler got his 2nd win of the season. His ERA is 1.38.

They are currently winning 17 - 5...Spanos and Perry have gone deep. Perry is a double away from the cycle actually. Midland has 23 hits.

Perry ended up hitting for the cycle and Midland won 20 - 10

the odd part is despite there being 30 runs and 43 hits IIRC, the game supposedly still only took just over 3 hours

Jason Perry hit for the cycle and earned the MiLB.com Star of the Day on Sunday afternoon as the Midland RockHounds doubled up the Corpus Christi Hooks, 20-10, in a Texas League slugfest. Perry went 4-for-6 with four RBIs to help the RockHounds (6-4) to their third straight win. The 25-year-old right fielder singled in the third inning, tripled in the fifth, homered in the seventh and doubled in the eighth to complete the cycle. All four hits came off different pitchers. Melillo collected four singles and a pair of doubles, becoming the first player to get six hits in a game against Corpus Christi (5-5). The second baseman singled and doubled in Midland's seven-run seventh inning. The RockHounds scored at least one run in every inning they batted, getting three in the third and three more in the eighth. Every starting position player had at least one of Midland's 26 hits.

Melillo is one of our top prospects now BTW.

Midland is now 7 - 4 and in first place all alone after a 12 - 9 win last night. 3B Snyder hit a triple and a homer while collecting 6 RBIs in the win.
