Hatteberg homers in the top of the 9th, Dotel strikes out 2 in the 9th...Calero struck out 2 in the 8th

A's win 6 - 1, 3 and 3 road trip isn't so bad I guess...Zito going 0 and 2 with an 11.37 or whatever ERA is bad

The rest of the staff has pitched very well...Zito--the so called veteran--should be ashamed

I gotta give Saber credit.

He predicted two years ago that Zito may not be that great after winning the Cy. Who knew?

I am shocked at how Zito has really fallen apart.

While I can't argue with that he was one of our best pitchers down the stretch last year along with Harden. That said, he hasn't been using his curve much at all and when he does he's not throwing it for strikes. If he can't throw the curve for strikes he's an average pitcher at best.

Zito was 4 - 7 in the first half and 7 - 4 in the 2nd half...I hope he gets it together...otherwise I may have to burn my Zito jersey
