And much like in the past, Rincon has been at his best in threatening situations, allowing only seven of 36 inherited runners to score, or 19.4 percent. That figure is in line with his career mark of 20.2 percent, second best in the majors since record-keeping began in 1974, just slightly behind Padres closer Trevor Hoffman.
