Break out the champagne folks! The A's swept a team. Oh, and if we run the table, we'll finish at .500. Cust hit the game winning homer to break a 3 - 3 tie. It was the 30th of the season for him. Divine got his first career save and IIRC he hasn't given up a run in 21 appearances now (20 2/3 innings I think).

A's finish the season on the road with 3 at Texas and 3 at Seattle.

Its pretty sad. With the 1st pick in the ammy draft the Seattle Mariners select....

Great way to close out the season at home. The young guys really proved themselves over the course of the season. We'll have to wait and see what the lineup will look like next spring.
