The Twins won the 1st game 5 - 4. Blanton went 7.2 innings giving up 5 runs (4 earned) with 9 hits, 0 walks, and 7 k's. He falls to 1 - 4. Emil Brown homered for the A's. Barton and Denorfia each had 2 hits.

Bonser vs. Gaudin tomorrow night.

I've been reading that Braden will get some innings logged tonite. He was recalled to replace Foulke. He (Braden) apparently has some swelling in his ankle due to an injury but should be ok to pitch...we'll see what Geren does.

Will be looking to see Bonser make a turn around from his last start where he only lasted 4+ innings while giving up 7 runs. He needs a good, confidence boosting win to prove that all the weight he lost over the winter will help him become a better pitcher.
