    Today is the final game of this series with the A's losing 5 - 3 and 7 - 3 so far. We're 5 games below .500 with 19 games left...meaning we'd have to 12 - 7 the rest of the way to finish at .500.
DiNardo is pitching against Millwood today. The A's head to Seattle afterwards to star a 3-game series on Monday. |

Somehow this game is still going on. I turned it off at 8 - 1 Rangers after a long rain delay to start the game. It's now 12 - 8 Rangers in the top of 8th. It was 9 - 8, but Embree gave up 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th. Swisher homered.

A's lose 12 - 9. Swisher homered again in the 9th. Way to get swept and pack it in guys
