Honestly, if the A's think they can back into the race, then I feel they have to win a minimum of 5 games during this road trip...otherwise, I would hope Beane sells quite a bit after these series (Piazza, Kennedy, Embree, Johnson, Kotsay lol, Kielty, etc.)

and Gaudin gave 3 runs back...he's out and it's 9 - 5 after 4 innings.

Gaudin's been having control problems a lot lately...he's up to 3rd or so in the AL for walks. He needs to get that under control if he's going to be a solid SP. He's not wild, just seems to nit pick too much from the games I've seen.
