AAA closer Marcus McBeth is one of the players...we don't really have room for him I suppose.

McBeth was our 8th best spec according to Baseball America...the other PTBNL better be a scrub.

Well I'll give Billy credit for at least trying to address an obvious need right now. Props to Mr Beane.

He is addressing a need as Provi pointed out to me in the Braves forum.

I wonder if Beane kind of screwed Scheuerholtz (sp?) or not though. I mean, he gave 2 PTBNL and cash for an outfielder that is going to be out for the season. Albeit he is a good player and it was a fair deal all the way around. But look at what the Braves got in return for their outfielder. I know Langerhans is not desired by many, but he is healthy and could (maybe) produce for you guys this season. Just something I was thinking about.

Same with me and that's the second time that's happened this year. I LOVE beating the Red Sux.

Sorry about the no game thread- yesterday got away from me.

I think Prov was at last night's game.

he was referring to the deal for Deno...saying the Reds got more for an injured player than the Braves did for a healthy one.

it's true...I can say I saw him play in his last A's game!

Seriously, that was terrible error he made in center tonight...totally misjudged it and seemed shocked that it wasn't in his glove...
