3 walks in the 1st inning hurt Big Z as 2 of them scored...then he gave up an inside the park homer, which I didn't see so I don't know what happened exactly. 3 - 0 Rangers after 2 innings.

Nelson Cruz hit the ball to leftfield. Jay Payton dove for it but missed the ball and it rolled almost to the wall and Cruz scored.

It was much more towards leftfield. Kotsay had no chance at getting to it.

that makes sense then...stupid gameday...I have the game onmlb.tv, but I had gone to the kitchen to get something to eat when it happened...
4 - 0 Rangers now...let's get some runs already...if we lose today, then so long as we win 1 game, we'll be good depending on what the Angels do...we still have games against the M's left, too  |

Tejeda has really tuned it up in 2 very tough spots against Frank Thomas. Nelson Cruz is totally destroying Zito too. An inside-the-park homerun and now a 3-run shot. Nice job of Macha leaving Zito in after he was already well over 100 pitches.

If Eaton can carry over from his last start and Padilla continues to pitch well against the A's, the rest of this series should be pretty exciting. I really didn't expect Tejeda to pitch quite this good today.
