Macha never should have sent Zito out there with the score being 9 - 0...he was at 95 and would have had to go 1-2-3 to make it through without being well over 100 pitches, which he is...Gaudin in 9 - 2...I hate Macha

apparently, it was Zito who begged Macha to let him stay in and try to get the 1 hit shutout...Zito said it was for personal reasons (it would have been his first 1 hit shutout and it was for his 100th win)....I still don't like the decision, but whatever.
