Right, because if the Yankees don't win sufficient games to make the playoffs(which I think they will, mind you), Bud Selig will just decide that since it's the last year at Yankee Stadium, they should make the playoffs. Which is poor logic. The stadium closing has zero impact on the wins and losses aspect of the game of baseball. Do you think the opposing teams will play worse because Yankee Stadium is closing?

I'm not saying at all that the stadium is making them better or that its making the other teams play worse. I'm saying its adding more motivation to them. Do you really think they don't talk about this year being the last year for Yankee Stadium? I'm pretty sure they do and I'm pretty sure they don't want the last season in that stadium to be a year that they miss the post season.

I might actually be going to one or two of those games in Minnesota. If so, that would be my first time seeing my Yankees in person so hopefully everything works out.

I think there are some much bigger homers than him...not going to name any names but...there are some huge ones.
